Seminar to focus on team-building, quality
Classes for learning about lean practices, teamwork-building and quality methods will be included in a spring conference by the American Society for Quality 0915 Evansville-Owensboro Section April 24 in Carter Hall at the University of Southern Indiana.
Scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., The conference is promoted as “a rare opportunity to gain a wide variety of awareness and insight in one place, including networking opportunities with other quality and business professionals … It will also leverage the complementary strengths from ASQ’s knowledge base.”
The conference aims to enable participants to take lessons learned back to their organization for further study and implementation.
Speakers will include Mike Micklewright, a “Dr. Deming” impersonator, author, business and quality consultant and trainer based in the Chicago area.
Micklewright’s most recent books include “Out of Another @#%^! Crisis[""] and ["]Learn ISO 9001,” both of which are expected to be available at the conference.
Regular registration fee before April 21 is $50, after then it’s $75. Student registration is $25.
